When Daily Disposables Are Not an Option
Speaker: Vânia Figueiredo

Although daily disposable silicone hydrogel contact lenses are generally regarded by eye care practitioners as the optimal modality for many patients, reusable lenses remain predominant. A persistent limitation of reusable contact lens modalities is poor patient compliance with manufacturer recommended replacement schedules. Despite continued advances in reusable lens materials and surface technologies, there remains a clinical need for innovations that better address the preferences and behaviors of patients who choose reusable modalities.
